Greetings from Church of Peace 11-09-17

Greetings from Church of Peace!

This Sunday’s worship service will focus on one of humankind’s God-like attributes: generosity.  The choir will provide special music.  Join us at 8:45 a.m. for this inspiring service.

The Church Council has called an urgent informational meeting for the congregation after worship this Sunday to discuss the church finances.  Please feel free to share this information with members who do not have email.

We know of three people who are in the hospital: Bill Whittaker, George Graff, and June Kohnke.  Please remember these people when you pray.

Friday night through Saturday, our youth will be on a retreat at Pilgrim Center.  When you pray, please include our students, coaches, and pastors as they grow in faith together.

This Sunday, the Ladies of Peace will begin selling the newly-designed Church of Peace Christmas ornaments.

A prayer for today: I know, O God, that you will be active in my life today, bringing me wisdom and joy as I go about my tasks. Thank you!  Please open the eyes of my heart so I can see opportunities to serve you by helping others.  Bless our hospitalized people – Bill, George, and June – and be with our confirmands and their leaders on retreat. I pray remembering Jesus.  Amen.
